About the Opportunity

We currently have a Food Services Assistant role available, join our Food Services Team on a casual basis at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane.  This role will be a casual position with opportunities working across 7-day roster.

You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a team to deliver a high quality of food and services to our patients in a hotel room service food model.

Things that work for us:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene, and infection control principles.

  • Basic computer literacy, using a range of online systems.

  • Proven ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, weekends and nights included.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Committed to a high level of patient centred care.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety and safe manual handling practices.
