THE JOB:
As a Food Runner at Primrose in Park MGM, you will support a seamless dining experience by delivering dishes promptly and providing attentive tableside service to guests. You will confidently describe menu items, answer guest questions, and work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure every plate is presented with care in this vibrant French-inspired dining destination.
THE STARTING RATE: $16.2956 Houry + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
Perform assigned open and closing side-work
Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Is 18+ years of age
6+ Months of prior relevant experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Fine dining and a three-meal restaurant experience preferred
Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
