THE JOB:
As a Food Runner at Jean Georges Steakhouse at ARIA, you will support a sophisticated dining experience by ensuring dishes are delivered promptly, accurately, and with attention to presentation. In this role, you will assist in maintaining table flow, support guest satisfaction through efficient service, and help keep dining areas organized and service-ready. You will also contribute to side work and the upkeep of assigned stations to ensure smooth daily operations. Through strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality, you will play an important part in delivering a seamless and high-quality dining experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5055 hourly + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages
Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
5+ years of prior relevant experience as a Food Server or Food Runner in a fine dining, fast paced restaurant or similar environment preferred
