Pay Range: $19.29 per hour
Job Summary: The Expeditor coordinates and expedites the delivery of food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role works closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate food delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Retrieve and deliver food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure the quality of food delivered meets the restaurant's standards.
Perform side work and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Communicate guest needs and special requests to the server.
Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to work, break, and meal periods as per standards.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, in compliance with the dress code.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Minimum of 1-3 months of related experience in food service or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Proficiency in using MICROS or similar point-of-sale systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail to ensure food quality and accuracy.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor work environment within a restaurant or hotel setting.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals throughout the day.
Must be able to stand and walk for more than 2/3 of the time.
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying as part of food service duties.
Regular interaction with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient food delivery.
