About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Food and Environmental Services Assistant to join our Patient Food and Environmental Services team at St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith (SVPCHG). This is a permanent part time role 20 hours a fortnight.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Serving Meals and Beverages to patients.
Following meal reports and work schedules.
Tray assembly according to meal tickets.
Cleaning and Washing up responsibilities
Housekeeping to meet the needs of patients in both Theatre/ Ward and clients in a professional and timely manner

The skills required are:

Experience working within a hospital food services setting or hospitality environment.
Ability to work within a team or unsupervised.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Commitment to continued professional development.
Punctuality and flexibility to cover shifts over 7 days.
Able to follow instructions and food safety principles.
