Compensation: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00
Position Summary: The Food & Beverage General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day and overall business operations within their assigned Café. Partnering with F&B and Retail Leadership, they will aim to create and maintain a seamless experience for all of Kith’s customers. Focusing on the guest’s experience, the F&B GM will ensure all F&B staff are providing the best-in-class service throughout Ronnie’s Cafe & Kith Treats. They will be responsible for completing and overseeing all F&B administrative tasks that may include but are not limited to, purchasing, inventory management, bookkeeping, and training & development of all F&B staff. Aiming to establish and maintain a safe & healthy environment for all staff & customers, they will ensure compliance with all Local and Federal Food & Beverage regulations. The F&B General Manager reports to the Senior Manager, F&B Retail, with the Café Chef, and Front of House Manager as their direct reports.
Primary Responsibilities:
Overseeing all food & beverage related matters within their assigned location.
Maintain effective and efficient communication with all business partners which may include but is not limited to all F&B and retail staff, as well as all HQ team members.
Manage all F&B staff either directly or in-directly through the F&B management team.
Remain updated and educated on all Local and Federal Food & Beverage regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
Oversee the restaurant’s purchasing and inventory management processes, for efficiency and cost purposes.
Oversee the management of any systems utilized within the F&B operations, including but not limited to reservation booking platforms, delivery services, and customer feedback platforms.
Manages the restaurant’s administrative responsibilities, which may include but are not limited to the restaurant’s scheduling, human resource matters, and payroll.
Assists the restaurant’s management team in achieving performance goals and completing standard operating procedures.
Supports the restaurant’s management to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Executes initiatives designed to drive customer satisfaction and overall business.
Guide all onsite or offsite work activities, inclusive of before, during, or after normal restaurant operating hours.
Secure and continuously maintain the restaurant’s certificates and overall permitting.
Oversee the restaurant’s maintenance and facilities, in partnership with the Security & Facilities Manager.
Ensures the restaurant’s mechanical equipment is in good standing by performing regular checks and proactive troubleshooting. Communicate any issues that need immediate attention with the appropriate business partners.
Manage vendors and/or service providers, to ensure quick and effective responses to any maintenance or repair needs.
Leads the on-boarding, training, and continuous development of the F&B staff.
Creates developmental plans to promote an engaged and evolving work environment.
Assist the restaurant’s management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.
Special Projects/Tasks:
Assist with inventory counts as business needs require.
Remain knowledgeable on any restaurant branded product/merchandise that may be displayed within the restaurant or throughout the retail space.
Host any restaurant visits, which may include but are not limited to VIP guests or business partners.
Assist with the planning and execution of any on/off-site events, including but not limited to pop-up events, private guests’ events held outside of normal business hours.
Communicate restaurant updates throughout the store, including the retail team.
Provide high-level business insight at the request of HQ business partners
Availability:
Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
Licenses/Certificates:
Valid and current Food Handler License/Certificate from the Department of Health or ServSafe License/Certificate is required
Experience:
6+ years in the Food & Beverage industry
6+ years in a Managerial role
Skills/Abilities:
Thorough communication and comfortable delegating tasks and responsibilities
Ability to efficiently multitask and manage multiple projects at once
Comprehensive computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Point of Sales systems, and reservation booking platforms
Ability to perform business math and simple business accounting
Ability to lift and move 30lbs.
Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
