Salary Range: $20.77 - $24.25 Per Hour

Job Summary: This position is located at Club Stewart, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Part-Time position with a minimum work week of 20 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major Duties:

  • Leads the work of Food and Beverage attendants in the preparation of fast food. Works with other members of the shift, setting pace, demonstrating proper work methods, conducting on-the-job training, and communicating work assignments.
  • Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons, and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Bakes various items, sets up coffee makers and brews various coffees, i.e., espresso. Sets up counters and display cases with condiments and baked goods. Prepares specialty hot and cold drinks, serves customers.
  • Sets up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold food and beverage. Prepares fruit and vegetable salads, portions out food. Checks food during cooking to prevent overcooking.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade. 1. Ability to lead other employees. 2. Work practices (keeping things neat, clean, and in order). 3. Technical practices (basic food preparation and handling techniques). 4. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change. 5. Able to communicate effectively in English 6. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions. 7. Knowledge of materials and basic sanitation principles. 8. Ability to use and maintains appliances, coffee makers, ovens, stoves and other common kitchen equipment and utensils. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Have 2 -3 years of waitstaff and catering experience and experience with sanitary food handling and the ability to demonstrate key catering presentation styles.
