ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: West Hollywood store
Status: Full Time, or Part Time
Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00/hr + Tip(s)
Position Summary: The FOH Team Member will work in collaboration with the F&B Leadership Team and other team members to deliver exemplary service to all guests. This position displays warm hospitality while supporting the full scope of all stations and performs all FOH duties and responsibilities efficiently. The FOH Team Member is expected to be knowledgeable of all menu items, food safety procedures and POS duties to properly address any guest inquires.
Primary Responsibilities:
Welcomes all guests and informs them of any specials, new menu items, while answering any questions they may have.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sterilized FOH countertop, display area, and outside dining area.
Remain educated on all food and beverage offerings on our menu, including individual ingredients, to ensure potential allergens are communicated with all guests.
Have a general understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards.
Immediately address any customer issues, questions, and overall comments. They will properly partner with the F&B Leadership Team to address any matters that they are unable to resolve on their own for the guest(s).
Continuously manage and maintain physical inventories of all FOH food products, paper good and take out supplies.
Effectively communicate any inventory needs, maintenance issues or overall concerns with the F&B Leadership Team
Assist the F&B Leadership Team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.
Special Projects/Tasks:
Assist with the planning and execution of any on/off-site events, including but not limited to pop-up events, private guests’ events held outside of normal business hours.
Assist in maintaining a safe and organized café, by completing any standard cleaning procedures commonly associated with a food & beverage outpost.
Availability:
Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as holidays.
Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
Licenses/Certificates:
Valid Food Handler/ServSafe Certificate
Experience:
1+ years in the Food & Beverage industry
1+ years in a high-volume customer facing role
1+ years processing cash and card transactions through a POS system
Skills & Abilities:
Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor
Ability to lift and move 30lbs.
Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
