Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an FMS Project Management Lead. In this role, the focus will be on supporting the program level initiatives, reporting aircraft deliveries / statuses to executives, and running Ad-Hoc projects in addition to other pertinent responsibilities for the C-17 Program. This person would be working for the Program Executive on-site in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare, develop, coordinate, schedule, and change manage activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Coordinates schedule, logistics & delivery of Foreign Military Aircraft.

  • Integrates & communicates maintenance activity & progress to FMS Customers

  • Lead and/or participate in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans

  • Leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

  • Leads or consults on the development of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends

  • Provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management

  • Lead and/or drive risk assessments, develop mitigation plans and refine business cases

  • Develop, collect, organize, provide data and update tasks to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance

  • Coordinate documented work statements and resulting schedules

  • Identify and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project teams

  • Communicate plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders

  • Leads and facilitates complex process improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years of experience working with the planning & scheduling processes, cost analysis, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  • 8+ years of experience with schedule management, integration of all logistics elements, supplier communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met

  • 8+ years of experience with Production and MRO operations

  • Experience with Foreign Military Customers

  • Ability to Identify and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project teams

  • Ability to support non-standard business hours late evening/early morning meetings (due to time zone differences our Foreign Military Customers)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Program Management, including scheduling and Cost Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Experience with C-17 project / program management

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Summary Pay Rate: $146,200 - $197,800
