DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Flow Cytometry Product Specialist , where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise. You'll represent our portfolio of Flow Cytometry instruments and solutions, working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a technical advisor, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and application support to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or life sciences industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering or related discipline
• Technical knowledge of Flow Cytometry and applications
• Strong understanding of Capital Equipment purchase processes
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
• Travel requirements of 50-75% within assigned territory
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued for international roles
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
