Compensation: $24.56/hour

Tessera is seeking a motivated and reliable Floor Crew with a professional attitude and detail-oriented to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, maintains professionalism, and ensures high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Carpet spotting – spot clean heavily soiled carpet prior to shampooing.
Carpet shampooing – operate industrial carpet cleaner to shampoo carpets according to schedule.
Sweeping – sweep each area according to schedule.
Vacuuming – vacuum each area according to schedule.
Wet/dry vacuum – operate wet/dry vacuum for each area according to schedule.
Wet/dry mopping – wet/dry mop each area according to schedule.
Strip wax from floor – apply stripping solution either manually or with floor care equipment according to schedule.
Fill and empty mop buckets.
Mix chemicals.
Clean and put away equipment after use.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
