Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FLIGHT SERVICES SPECIALIST TITLE 32 INDEFINITE, Position Description Number D1458000 and is part of the NH 157th Operations Group, National Guard. Major Duties:
Qualifications: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership in the military grade/rank listed in the announcement. Military Grades: E5 to E6 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position. Compatible Military Assignments: 1C751 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have the experience that demonstrates the knowledge of the transportation functions for this position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 12 months of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-07). Experience, education, or training in mission planning for preflight, in-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions. Receives, interprets, extracts, and disseminates relevant data for mission planning or execution. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. It is not necessary for applicants to possess the MOS/AFSC listed as compatible to the position in order to apply, however applicant must meet the qualifications for the position.
