What you will do

The Fleet Safety Analyst is essential to monitor real-time telematics data, identify high-risk driving behaviors, and compare these insights against Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) risk profiles (yellow and red categories). This role provides immediate communication to managers and drivers, enabling proactive intervention to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to act quickly to address safety concerns.

How you will do it

  • Telematics Monitoring: Capture and review real-time telematics data to identify unsafe driving behaviors or anomalies.
  • Risk Analysis: Compare telematics insights against MVR risk profiles (yellow and red categories) to assess driver risk levels.
  • Proactive Communication: Notify managers and drivers immediately when high-risk behaviors or patterns are detected; provide guidance on corrective actions.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions, and compliance status for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Fleet Operations and Safety teams to align on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and technology utilization to improve fleet safety performance.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Transportation, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in fleet safety, telematics analysis, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in telematics platforms and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills for real-time engagement with managers and drivers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $67,900-84,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
