In this role, you will assist operational staff with compliance-related requirements on the delivery of both grant reimbursement and loan-based housing and community development programs including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related field -AND- a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience.
-OR- Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.
-OR- CPA license may substitute for one year of the required experience.
-OR- Related professional experience or certifications may substitute for the required education.
The ideal candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

Two (2) years of federal grant experience, including those working with administering housing grant programs.
Effective and concise communication skills – both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated commitment to direct service work with low-income communities.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local grant requirements.

Interpret complex program regulations and other legal requirements.
Educate and direct internal and external customers.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion for decision-making.
