This First Line Manger will be responsible for leading analyst(s) and directly supporting the material/non-labor financials in our Defense portfolio. This entails enabling the team to a successful execution of analyzing contract Bills of Material, supporting procurement, budgeting, internal and government reporting, developing estimates to complete (ETCs) and estimates at completion (EACs) while supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) activities where appropriate.
This leader will be working across functions, including Program Finance, Material Estimating, Procurement Financial Analyst, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management to integrate the data and report up and outward.

Position Responsibilities:
Managerial: Leading a diverse team of early and mid-career analysts with oversight of technical decisions/directions with first pass quality and timeliness.
Collaborates: Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Financial Mastery: Oversees Estimates at Completion (EACs) for contracts as well as variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends.
Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to Boeing and governmental regulations concerning financial policies, procedures, processes, systems and tools as well as audit support. As well as, oversees the development and maintenance of cost baselines, utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)systems. As well as effectively navigates ambiguity to identify opportunities, risks, and challenges the business to capture value.
Strategic Recommendations: Make informed recommendations through storytelling to management of all levels on financial performance projections.
People Development: Manages, develops and motivates employees, including new hires, mid-career, and lead analysts.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
1+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
10+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting
