First-Line Facilities Services Manager

Boeing Defense is currently seeking a First-Line Facilities Services Manager (Level K) to join our Facilities and Asset Management team in Mesa, Arizona.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning, analysis, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and Plant & Equipment maintenance

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Mesa, Arizona.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, infrastructure and maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience facilitating/leading and executing project plans

  • 3+ years of experience teaching, coaching and developing others

  • Experience developing & maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities planning, analysis, project administration, and property administration

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or factory support environment

  • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing technical, operational or quality strategies

  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing employee engagement strategy

This position is for 1st shift.

Summary Pay Range: $119,000 to $161,000
