Currently we are looking for Firmware Development Engineer. As part of our team, you will be working on development of low-level code for latest generations of Ethernet datacenter solutions.

Your responsibilities in this position will include but not be limited to:

  • development and review of firmware code
  • working with relevant teams inside Intel to support customers
  • debugging reported issues and proposing solutions
  • creating documentation for delivered features
  • taking part in firmware design process
  • taking part in planning of team activities as part of Agile process and participating in other SAFE ceremonies
  • proposing and introducing improvements leading to better efficiency and quality of products and processes
  • work with relevant teams inside Intel from different geo-locations
  • work on many other topics related to exciting cutting-edge technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Electronics
  • working knowledge and proven experience in development of embedded systems and real-time software
  • working knowledge in C programming
  • working knowledge and experience in software development for networking and communication solutions
  • knowledge about networking protocols
  • knowledge and experience in hardware oriented software, low-level SW/HW debug skills
  • excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a competitive team environment in multiple geo-locations
  • willingness to learn new topics, improve own skillset, influence processes to increase team efficiency


The following will be considered an advantage:

  • working knowledge in ThreadX, i64 architecture, RTOS, multi-threaded environment. Familiarity with ARC and Tensilica architecture.
  • debugging skills using Lauterbach, gdb, other debuggers.
