About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in F5 Load Balancers and Palo Alto Firewalls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and high-availability network infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM) solutions.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS) including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention.
  • Perform advanced traffic management, load balancing, and application delivery optimization.
  • Manage firewall rule lifecycle, policy reviews, and compliance adherence.
  • Handle incident, service request, and change management activities with SLA adherence.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across multi-tier environments.
  • Implement and manage SSL offloading, WAF policies, and DDoS protection mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network design and security improvements.
  • Perform regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and security hardening.
  • Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM
  • Palo Alto Firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama)
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing & switching protocols.
  • Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN).
  • Knowledge of WAF, IDS/IPS, and network security best practices.
  • Experience in high availability (HA), clustering, and failover configurations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • F5 Certified (F5-CA / F5-CTS / F5-CSE)
  • Palo Alto Certifications (PCNSE / PCNSA)
  • Cisco (CCNP/CCIE) – added advantage
