The Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Fire Sprinkler Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.Base pay is $50K to $70K based on fire safety sales experience. Must be in the Cincinnati area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains a network of sources, including general contractors, facility managers, and construction partners. Identify new sprinkler contracting sales leads.
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their fire protection needs; identifies and suggests sprinkler system products and services to meet those needs.
Demonstrates the functions and value of sprinkler products and services to the customers based on their requirements and project scope.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management throughout the bid, award, and installation process; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, proposals, orders, awarded/lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship programs.
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field preferred.
Must have at least two years of related experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel.
