Fire Sprinkler Installation/Retrofit Foreman

This position will be responsible for overseeing the installation of fire sprinkler systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of fire sprinkler systems, and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple aspects of a construction project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This is a field working position.  Candidate will work with the site foreman to provide installation and project oversite mentoring, project site layout, emphasize material organization, assist in demonstrating proper installation techniques to helpers, and promote proper job site communication.

  • Oversee day-to-day activities on the job site, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

  • Conduct regular visits to job sites to monitor progress and ensure that installation is proceeding as scheduled.

  • Track and report construction progress on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ensure that installation meets all design specifications, quality standards, and code requirements.

  • Conduct inspections, manage punch-out items, and ensure the final installation is completed with precision.

  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, approvals, and project-related communications.

  • Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation.

  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, installation techniques, and safety codes.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well with diverse teams.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fire sprinkler design plans.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address issues on-site promptly.

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driver record.

Other Duties:

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, confined spaces).

  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Pay:

  • $25 to $30 DOE and Certifications.
