What you will do
Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for the testing and documenting the results of fire protection systems according to NFPA standards.
How you will do it
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance on water based systems and/or sprinkler systems.
Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
Input, retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
Complete assigned inspections on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
3 to 5 years of experience with sprinkler systems
DPOR License
NICET III Certification
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
Able to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 pounds
Must be able to work on lifts and ladders
Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements
Must be available to participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation
Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Preferred
State Backflow certified
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21 - $35 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
