The OSFM is recruiting for a Fire Adapted Oregon Project Manager (Project Manager 3). As the Fire Adapted Oregon Project Manager you will support the Fire Adapted Oregon and Community Risk Reduction Program by managing complex, multi-division projects focused on wildfire for the built environment. The role develops program strategies, coordinates with OSFM divisions and partner agencies, and oversees project teams to ensure compliance and successful implementation. This position also tracks progress, mitigates risks, resolves issues, and provides regular status updates to executive leadership across multiple interconnected initiatives.

This is a limited duration position that is expected to end two (2) years from the date of hire. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible. This position has the potential to be extended or become permanent based on business need or permanent funding.

Position Details
This is a full-time, limited duration position classified as management service and not represented by the union.
This position is based at our Salem office in Oregon.
This position may be eligible for remote work options depending on business needs.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. When the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.

Minimum Qualifications:
Seven years of professional level experience related to the class concept; OR
Six years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification; OR
Four years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR
Two years of professional level experience AND Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute.
