Role Description

  • Credit Risk Data Unit (CRDU) aims to provide quality assured and timely Finance relevant Risk information and analysis to key stakeholders in a transparent and controlled manner covering the end to end processes for all relevant metrics in an efficient and regulatory compliant way. In addition, CRDU provides oversight and advisory on the related CTB book of work, interacting with GT and CDO (via Finance Business Architect) to drive data and process improvements as well as data "right" sourcing.
  • In that context, CRDU – Governance creates transparency on Financial Data Warehouse (FDW) requirements to drive the improvement of change towards well governed and quality-controlled design and implementation processes.
  • Additionally, CRDU – Governance provides support for Strategic Data Adoptions and the onboarding of new and changed feeds aligned to Regulatory requirements.
  • The successful candidate will predominantly support the Data Sourcing and Strategic Data Adoption process for Credit Risk Regulatory Requirements within FDW, the Group Regulatory Reporting tool.

Your key responsibilities

  • Close interaction with Finance/IT Change, GSA, Data Ingest, Publisher TDI/Local Finance, Data Demand Managers, Business SMEs, CRM/CRO/Risk, Project/CRDU requestors in facilitating and supporting Strategic Data adoption including new data demands to fulfill regulatory demand and the closure of audit findings
  • Provide SME support to the overall data sourcing process for new data sourcing requests into FDW
  • Engage with projects in attribute review and mapping of requirements to FDW data, while providing guidance on data content relevant for various Reporting Requirements and impact on Group Risk metrics
  • Support the review and analysis of impacts on FDW of Strategic Data Protocol (SDP) model changes
  • Support Data Ingest in review and assessment during pre-analysis phase of Data adoption, including review of mappings of SDP data model domains to Financial Data Standard (FDS) data model attributes
  • Engage in discussions with Data Ingest and Publishers related to changes observed between current production versus Strategic published data, assessing its acceptability for reporting
  • Support regression testing as part of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new data consumption within the FDW Release cycles
  • Support / Analyze the impact on key risk metrics and provide recommendation for Go-live as part of Release signoff

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant work experience, University degree with related majors
  • Finance or Risk background with good understanding of key risk metrics including their composition and calculation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; result-orientation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; result- and risk-oriented
  • Proactive, independent, structured and efficient working style with willingness to take on responsibility
  • Sound process and project management skills – able to manage various tasks simultaneously
  • Reliable team player who enjoys working in an international environment
