Your Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions is seeking an Equipment Operator (Finishing) to support the production of high-quality printed products. This role is responsible for operating a variety of finishing equipment—including folding, stitching, punching, coiling, cutting, gluing, and packing—as well as performing routine equipment maintenance and ensuring quality standards are met.

Your Shift:Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some weekend work may be required)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret job tickets to ensure all required finishing steps are completed accurately.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, punches, coilers, and related bindery equipment.
  • Complete tasks according to production schedules to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Attach correct labels, tags, and identifiers to products and packaging.
  • Pack finished products into appropriate boxes and containers.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Report defective materials or questionable quality issues to the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Move finished goods to designated storage or distribution areas.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on finishing equipment to ensure efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Follow standard work methods to ensure efficiency, consistency, and safety.

You Must Have:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, numerical data, and job specifications.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience operating finishing or bindery equipment preferred (punching, stitching, coiling, cutting, etc.).

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
