Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Financials Unit Manager (Revenue Supervisor 1) position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Collections Division in the Operations, Policy & Systems Section. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in-state hybrid work.  Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely. 

In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon. Current Revenue employees who live outside of Oregon may apply and will be considered.

*Note: Effective Feb. 1, 2026, the compensation plan for this position will be increased to reflect a Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) of 2.5%. The salary listed in this posting does not reflect the COLA. 

What You Will Be Doing

Below is a sampling of job duties. It is not meant to encompass all duties.

  • Supervises the unit staff.  Sets employee performance goals and objectives.

  • Schedules work assignments, assign priorities and ensures they are met.

  • Balances workload and reviews completed work of unit personnel to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy and conformance with unit, division and agency policies.

  • Timely conducts quarterly check-ins for all employees.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a process(s) or system(s) that ensure the technical functions are adequately provided for unit personnel. 

  • Interprets, reviews, evaluates, and recommends change to collections and the Settlement Offer process.

Three years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualified, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
