Responsibilities:

  • Month-End Process: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely month-end closing.
  • Corporate Reporting: Prepare comprehensive year-end reports and analyze trial balance fluctuations to provide actionable insights.
  • Journal Vouchers: Initiate and manage manual journal vouchers, maintaining strong relationships with GBS.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed account reconciliations, ensuring quality management and utilizing reconciliation tools effectively.
  • Audit Support and External reporting: Provide essential support to internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Ensure accurate and timely submission of the Swiss National Bank Statistics reporting.
  • Treasury and Cash Management: Oversee the close of the Quantum Treasury system and coordinate manual disbursement requests of non-automated payments. This also includes Bank relationship management with opening and closing of bank accounts, handling periodical KYC, managing all subsidiary bank account administration, acting as liaison between bank relationship managers and Lilly.
  • Cash Forecasting: Prepare monthly cash forecasts and bi-monthly FX exposure forecasts to minimize company FX risks.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and participate in various ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive financial efficiency and innovation.

Technical skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, exceptional analytical skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Soft skills:

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, strong under pressure, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Previous experience:

Proven experience in a US multinational or audit/accounting firm, with a strong background in general accounting, treasury, or audit.

Languages:

Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.

IT literacy:

Expertise in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Location:

Geneva - Contract subject to a valid work permit in Switzerland.
