Financial Specialist - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Department:

Business and Finance | Financial Planning and Analysis

Serves as a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, supporting the AVP and senior level staff, in working to develop, interpret and implement financial and accounting concepts or techniques related to strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting with an emphasis on utilizing data reporting tools. Responsibilities include working as a college and support unit analyst, aiding in the maintenance and optimization of revenue and expense models utilized by the university for short- and long-term planning efforts. Responds to ad-hoc data requests that assist senior leadership with strategic decision making.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; solid interpersonal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders; demonstrated ability to leverage analytic, forecasting and modeling tools. Ability to create and leverage financial model projections and scenarios.

Desired Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience with reporting, analysis, and financial modeling. Proficiency with Workday, Adaptive Planning, and MS Office.

Additional Information:

The Target Hiring Range for this position is $24.76 to $32.33 per hour.
