The Team

ICAAP Analytics is an international team consisting of 25 highly qualified professionals. We work in an open and informal atmosphere, based in Amsterdam. The tasks are organised around three squads. In your role you contribute to the Risk Appetite & Disclosures squad. They coordinate internal risk reporting to the MBB and SB and external disclosures like the quarterly Press Release and the Annual Report. In this role ICAAP Analytics closely collaborates with ESG risk, Group Finance and Investor Relations to provide the relevant risk information and messaging in external publications. An increasingly important element in this respect are disclosures on ESG risks, where several regulatory requirements need to be implemented in the coming years.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Acts as the Group expert authority on ESG and integrated bank-wide risk reporting, including emerging topics like Climate Risk and broader ESG-related reporting;

  • Ensures end‑to‑end consistency and integrity between ESG supervisory reporting, Pillar 3 disclosures, and other market-relevant risk reporting, including oversight of assurance, review, and sign‑off processes;

  • Translates complex and evolving regulatory requirements (CRR, EBA ITS, ECB expectations) into robust group-wide reporting frameworks, governance standards, and sustainable implementation roadmaps;

  • Actively contributes to the definition, design, and set‑up of ESG data requirements, including the alignment of systems, controls, and data flows, and provides expert oversight to promote the integrity, consistency, and reliability of ESG metrics across the reporting landscape.

  • Provides senior advisory support to management, committees, and control functions

  • Collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders to ensure the alignment and timely completion of both internal and external disclosure projects.

  • Ability to operate as a senior expert without formal line management;

  • Comfortable advising and constructively challenging senior management, committees, and external stakeholders;

  • Strong capability to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, decision‑driven executive narratives, balancing accuracy, risk, and reputational considerations;

  • Exhibits advanced analytical skills, particularly in risk analysis, regulatory and management reporting, and disclosure frameworks;

  • High level of ownership, professional judgement, and decision‑making;

  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional and international environments, coordinating across Risk, Finance, ESG, and other control functions;
