The Financial Planning & Coaching Senior Offer Development Strategist role is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Planning & Coaching (FP&C) Team in FAS’s Advisor Solutions department. The team’s mission is to educate and resource advisors across a subset of financial planning domains (Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Legacy & Estate Planning, Behavioral Coaching, and Practice Management). In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and enhance solutions for our priority FAS clients. Our solutions typically take the form of content, digital tools and experiences, and Specialist support.
Key responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert on financial planning topics and advisor needs to influence solution development and enhancement priorities.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of solutions by 1) authoring and maintaining advisor and end-client content 2) specifying requirements for digital tools and 3) responding to relevant market and legislative events with resources for clients.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, informed by client feedback, competitive analysis, and business goals. Business partners include those in FAS (Sales, Digital Product Management, Marketing, User Experience, Investment Advisory Research Center, Information Technology) and across the enterprise advice ecosystem.
Own and maintain solution roadmaps and backlogs, including new solution development and enhancements. Provide prioritization recommendations.
Measure and track solution usage and quality. Utilize data to track and communicate progress and prioritize solution enhancements.
Support our distribution partners (Sales and Marketing) in crafting campaigns to bring these solutions to market.
Lead competitive intelligence research efforts to understand sources of differentiation and opportunities for our solutions.
Partner with the FAS User Experience Research Team to conduct primary research and analyze data to identify trends, advisor needs, and potential areas for innovation.
