We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Assistant! The Financial Planning Assistant will organize the client’s financial documentation and assist advisors with client service responsibilities. In addition, you would assist in the creation of customized financial plans tailored to meet client’s needs, and create client reviews.
This is a hybrid role.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Client Account & CRM Support
Establish and maintain new client accounts in the CRM database
Generate, merge, and mail client welcome letters
Assist in networking and maintaining direct business accounts
Support the administration of data exchange between Portfolio Accounting and CRM systems
Scheduling & Operational Coordination
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and internal events
Provide administrative support for new business processing
Coordinate with advisors and team members to ensure timely task completion
Support ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as assigned
Data Entry & Project Support
Perform accurate and timely data entry across multiple systems
Assist with special projects, reporting, and operational improvements
Provide backup support for other administrative roles as needed
Contribute to process documentation and workflow optimization
Creation of Customized Financial Plans
Provide an accurate summary of clients’ personal information and current financial position
Provide an accurate current asset allocation
Submit cases to the Roundtable on behalf of the Financial Advisors
Coordinate and obtain recommendations from the Financial Advisor
Gather and coordinate pertinent insurance materials and documents with the insurance department for review, as necessary
Coordinate investment allocations and/or recommendations from investment department, as necessary
Assist in the creation of other financial planning reports/analyses by utilizing financial planning software
Incorporate analyses and recommendations into the Financial Plan
Submit financial plans to the Planning Operations Manager or a Senior Financial Planner for final review before delivery to the Advisor and client
Support the Financial Advisor or Financial Planner with Financial Plan completion tasks (e.g. printing, copying, binding, mailing)
Record notes regarding client communications, inquiries, and actions related to planning
Scheduling & Creation of Client Reviews
Prepare reviews and maintain accurate information on all accounts (WEG & outside WEG), beneficiary information, RMD tracking, etc.
Submit review to Financial Advisor or Associate Financial Advisor on a timely basis for final review
Record notes regarding client communications, inquiries, and actions related to reviews
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance, economics or related
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Familiarity with Salesforce, e-Money, and/or Orion preferred
Experience with Workday preferred
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Individual Contributor level is $42,500.00 to $63,750.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
