HIH Financial Planning and Analysis – Lead Analyst
Position Summary:
Evernorth is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our emerging Financial Planning and Analysis team at our Global Capability Center (GCC) location in Hyderabad. The individual will ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. The Enterprise FP&A Analyst is responsible for preparing timely, accurate reporting related to enterprise FP&A metrics. Role involves creating consolidated operating expense reports, conducting variance analysis, and identifying key drivers and trends.
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conduct variance analysis to explain performance gaps between actuals and budget/forecasts. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Processes accounting entries such as journal vouchers, accruals and other adhoc requests
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Maintain enterprise rolling operating expense forecasts. Support strategic planning by providing financial analysis and insights.
- Modeling and Insights: Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and scenario planning. Perform "what-if" analysis to evaluate potential expense initiatives and their financial impact. Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leaders to align financial plans with strategic goals. Present findings and reports clearly and concisely to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required (MBA/CA/ICWA/CFA/CPA preferred).
- 5-8 years of financial accounting experience.
- Proven experience within accounting or finance functions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle EPM).
