Role Overview:

We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Financial Process Specialist to partner with business stakeholders and drive improvements in financial operations. This role focuses on providing expert financial insights, designing efficient processes, and ensuring consistent, value-driven delivery of financial services.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.

Are you someone who can:

  • Apply sound accounting principles to accurately record, adjust, and reconcile financial transactions
  • Maintain proper documentation in line with professional financial reporting standards
  • Prepare and deliver accurate operational and financial reports, while managing reporting systems and improving processes for timely insights
  • Manage and optimize the use and effectiveness of financial information systems across the business
  • Oversee interdependencies between systems, data, and resources to ensure successful project planning and execution
  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance that influence operational decisions and strategic debates
  • Record, interrogate and manage costs with associated drivers in the production, analysis and use of information for decision making in the business
  • Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Monitor and coach behaviours that foster a service-driven culture, encourage innovation, and enable exceptional client experiences
  • Assist in budgeting process, ensuring compliance with guidelines, monitoring variances, and advising management on corrective actions
  • Ensure business operations are dealt with in a manner compliant with regulatory bodies and assist with the required submission to such regulatory bodies

You will be an ideal candidate if you meet the below minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance, Chartered Accountant or Mathematics.
  • The candidate should have the following Knowledge and skills
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Assertive with good communications skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
