Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

At BILL, we’re automating the future of finance. As a Finance Manager, you’ll do more than just manage a budget; you’ll be a strategic partner for our CTO and R&D organization (e.g. Infrastructure, Software Engineering, and CIO) and corporate FP&A team.

This role bridges the gap between high-level technical roadmaps and corporate-wide financial performance. You will not only own business relationships but also drive corporate analysis and trend analysis to ensure our investment strategy aligns with long-term growth and industry benchmarks.

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the lead finance counselor to executives. You’ll collaborate with leaders to track progress, optimize spend, and rigorously evaluate the ROI of new technical initiatives.
  •  Forecasting & Budgeting: Own the end-to-end planning and forecasting with your business partners. You’ll lead the annual budgeting cycle, quarterly forecasting, and variance analysis.
  •  Corporate Analysis & Trends: Go beyond the R&D function. You will analyze company-wide financial trends, perform industry benchmarking, and identify macro-level shifts in SaaS efficiency to help leadership steer the ship.
  • Month-End: Oversee the month-end close for your departments. This includes managing accruals and variance analysis (BvA) while proactively translating these results into "what’s next" for the rolling forecast.
  •  Business Case Analysis: Lead the financial vetting for major tech decisions—providing "Build vs. Buy" frameworks, Cloud infrastructure optimization models, and deep-dives into 3rd party vendor efficiency.
  • Advanced Reporting: Architect automated dashboards tracking critical KPIs: R&D as a % of Revenue, Cloud Cost per Transaction, and Developer Productivity metrics.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Data-Fluency: You don’t just use Excel; you master it. You are comfortable navigating ERPs (NetSuite/Oracle) and FP&A tools (Adaptive, Hyperion) to extract the signal from the noise.
  • Strategic Thinking: You don't just report numbers; you identify the "why" behind them. You can connect a spike in infrastructure usage to a broader corporate trend.
  • Technical Curiosity: You might not write code, but you understand how a tech stack scales. You can discuss "Cloud Latency" or "DevOps cycles" and translate them into "Financial Risk" or "Opportunity" for the board.
  • SaaS Specialty: You have the SaaS P&L memorized. You understand the levers that drive sustainable growth and know how to measure its efficiency.
  • Experience: 6–8+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance, with a focus on high-growth SaaS or Fintech.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (accruals, capitalization of software, opex vs. capex, etc.).
  • Expertise with ERP Finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Oracle Hyperion, or SAP S/4).
  • Advanced financial modeling for complex business investment cases.
  • Experience managing Cloud/Infrastructure costs (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Visa Sponsorship:  Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
