Job Summary: You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET FORMULATION DIVISION (N00FM1), FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OFFICE - COMPTROLLER (N00FM) of NCTAMSLANT NORVA. SALARY RANGE: GG11: $75,788-$103,584 GG12: $90,838-$124,148 This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: For the GG11: -Experience analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternate methods of financial management of organization's program and administrative operations. -Experience applying spend plan labor budget formulation, civilian labor execution monitoring and forecasting. -Experience utilizing and extracting data from administrative, payroll, and financial management systems. -Experience analyzing and identifying the conceptualization of budgetary problems and development of alternative solutions. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0501-11. For the GG12: -Experience developing and formulating budget requests for programs, to include Civilian labor. -Experience analyzing and monitoring expenditure funds in an approved budget. -Experience preparing, analyzing and submitting a variety of financial/budgetary reports such as Certified Obligations, Execution Reports and Spend plans, using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel. -Experience using data analytical tools to analyze financial spending and historical trends. -Experience briefing senior leaders, orally and in writing.
