PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Financial Data Engineer – Trainee (m/f/d). What if it was you?
As a Trainee, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with experience in financial data processing, automation and regulatory reporting. You’ll support our Managed Services team in delivering high-quality data solutions for the asset management industry. You’ll develop both technical and financial skills while contributing to daily operations in an international and supportive environment.
Assist with financial data processing by collecting, organising and preparing large datasets for analysis and reporting.
Support data quality checks using validation tools and workflows (Python, SQL, Alteryx) to help maintain data integrity.
Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives to make data processes more efficient.
Collaborate on data pipelines and automated workflows used for fund reporting and compliance analytics.
Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports (UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs, SFDR, CRR).
Contribute to dashboards and monitoring tools (Power BI, Excel or similar) to track data quality and reporting timelines.
Take part in learning and innovation initiatives aimed at improving processes and delivering smarter client solutions.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, computer science or a related field.
Looking for an internship lasting 4 to 6 months.
Interested in financial instruments, fund accounting or asset management operations.
Familiar with Excel and eager to learn tools such as Python, Alteryx, Power BI or SQL.
Curious, eager to learn and open to exploring new technologies.
Organised, detail-oriented and proactive in a team setting.
Good communication skills in English; French or German would be considered an asset.
Any experience with data pipelines, cloud platforms or Git is considered a plus.
Interest in data governance, data quality or compliance standards is welcomed.
Motivated to participate in innovation or automation projects.
