Job Description
The Financial Crime Analyst identifies, analyses, monitors and mitigates Financial Crime risk and supports business to predict and respond to identified regulatory breaches The incumbent performs enhanced due diligence reviews and general customer investigations pertaining to financial crime risk, and assists with enhancing, streamlining and automating processes to identify risk exposures at a process level and implement early warning symptoms in the front-line The analyst stays abreast of current best practices in the field and applies expert knowledge, techniques and technologies to prevent and reduce financial crime

- Completes required progress reports and distributes to manager, customers and internal partners
- Applies expert knowledge, techniques and technologies to prevent and reduce financial crime

- Ensures continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes
- Provides a consultative service to stakeholders on the detection and prevention of financial crime
- Provides expert recommendations that are technically accurate and timeous
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands
