Job Summary
This is an analytical position developed to help assess and manage the financial risk on individual deals and the overall casualty book of business across different product lines. It is responsible for the assessment and grading the complex financial nature of large accounts and determining appropriate structure and levels of collateral and funding. It also provides analytical support and guidance to different levels of management on complex situations relating to financial and credit risk management.
The hiring team would like to talk with candidates who have experience in financial credit analysis (including from an internship). The team would also be interested in meeting new grad who is excited to join the insurance industry.
This role can sit in either the Alpharetta, GA or St. Paul, MN office on a hybrid schedule of two days in the office, three days remote.
Complete reviews and evaluations of existing and prospect clients' financial condition and credit worthiness
Track upcoming renewals and pro-actively secure and compile data
Collaborate with the underwriting teams in identifying and soliciting information needed to complete the financial and credit risk analysis
Compile, upload and spread financials in Moody’s Credit Lens
Conduct industry and market research and competitive landscape analysis
Participate in fact finding calls and meetings with client’s Senior Financial Management
Review and monitor economic, marketplace, and collateral trends, particularly as they relate to target industries
Research accounting and business changes and update benchmarks and analytical tools
Act as a liaison with the Global Treasury and Corporate Accounting and Finance teams as relates to collateral, credit, billing and accounting type of issues
Populate and run Collateral Analysis and Assessment Tool
Provide ad-hoc management and financial reports on the casualty book of business
Education & Experience
Bachelors or higher degree in Finance/Accounting.
Prior experience and expertise in Financial and Credit Risk and Financial Statement Analysis.
Prior experience in the Insurance/Risk Management field is a plus.
Prior experience with Moody's CreditLens and S&P Capital IQ is a plus.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$73,348 - $99,236/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
