Why this role?

We are looking for a Finance leader to drive financial operations in Malaysia, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic support for business growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead financial operations, including accounts payable, month-end closing, reporting, taxation, and treasury.

  • Ensure correctness of managerial information such as order books, WIP financing, and key financial metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements (SST, corporation tax, statutory accounts).

  • Drive on-time month-end, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and oversee treasury functions, including exchange rate hedging.

  • Support expense reimbursements, payroll accounting, and provide professional financial advice to business unit leaders.

Are you the one?

  • You have strong experience in financial reporting, finance operations, accounting, and taxation, preferably in medium to large multinational corporations.

  • You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to interact confidently with business leaders.

  • You possess strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are required.

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.

  • Minimum 8 years, including 2-3 years in auditing and 4-5 years in financial controller roles.
