<title>About the role</title>

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for taking care of Support Departments like Engineering, Product, Customer Support, Marketing, etc. Each of those steps has accounting implications across multiple entities, currencies, and regulatory environments.
You’ll be working alongside Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Finance Technology and Support Functions.

<title>Main tasks and responsibilities:</title>

- <point>Manage all aspects of month-end and year-end close for Support Functions, including P&L/BS reviews, journal entries, variance analysis, and IFRS compliance.</point>
- <point>Act as the Subject Matter Expert and owner for assigned accounting domains, ensuring data integrity through reporting and reconciliation reviews.</point>
- <point>Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, and Finance Technology to align financial reporting with business operations.</point>
- <point>Support business scaling through new product launches, system integrations, and optimisation of finance tools.</point>
- <point>Strengthen internal governance by standardising financial frameworks and maintaining a robust control environment.</point>
- <point>Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies end-to-end, while providing technical accounting guidance and maintaining quality control over transactions.</point>

- <point>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline, with solid experience in financial controlling, accounting, or audit.</point>
- <point>Highly systematic and compliance-driven, with strong ownership, time management, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing ethical or compliance risks.</point>
- <point>Clear communicator who can translate accounting complexity for non-finance stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally with ease.</point>
- <point>Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and ideally familiar with ERP systems, Workday, or SQL.</point>
