Location: London/Leeds/Dublin Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Revenue team as a Revenue Accountant, where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial and management information to all internal and external stakeholders. You'll be at the heart of our daily revenue processes, managing costs, and driving monthly reporting with insightful analysis. Your work will directly impact the financial health and operational efficiency of our business.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the production and automation of daily revenue reporting for Online & Retail revenue channels
  • Support month-end close activities within Group Reporting deadlines for assigned channels
  • Handle and operate a robust cost accruals process in our fast-close environment
  • Review and flag significant variances in advance of close
  • Standardise and automate month-end tasks to improve timelines and efficiency
  • Prepare comprehensive business packs for assigned channels with detailed analysis
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations within set deadlines
  • Manage third-party supplier payments, calculations and reconciliations
  • Assist with revenue reconciliation for assigned areas at month-end
  • Proactively engage with channel owners to improve processes and procedures
  • Continuously review and enhance processes in light of system changes and business requirements
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance to ensure accurate and timely accounting information
  • Deliver timely financial information to the Group reporting team
  • Engage proactively with internal and external audits
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager - Revenue on ad hoc tasks

How You'll Do It

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Registered student with a recognised Accounting body
  • Minimum 1+ years' experience in a similar financial reporting environment
  • Strong academic credentials (e.g. honours degree)
  • Proven track record of consistent delivery in a similar role
  • Experience developing and implementing operational improvements
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Outstanding analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with close attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with high volumes of data in a highly automated environment
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or similar financial systems
