The Precision Fires and Maneuvers (PF&M) Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) has a Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls (P2) opportunity within the Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) team. This senior analyst role will support and lead a new Development program. Responsibilities include management of EVMS reporting, analysis of program performance, utilization of APEX and PMX tools, semi-annual EACs, monthly forecasting including tracking variances, and interfacing with Cost Account Managers.  

This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done at the Tucson, AZ location. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do

  • Provide weekly cost and labor reporting to the team.

  • Perform SAP Earned Value Reporting and utilize PMX to create and maintain EV artifacts

  • Monitor funding status and program costs to support billings as well as customer inquiries

  • Provide financial support for Ad Hoc requests

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field is required & a minimum 2 years finance/accounting work experience

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution

  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working independently and with higher levels of management

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management and EVM Tools

  • Independent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Experience training finance team members in tools and processes

  • Experience with SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar tools and understanding of AOP and Long Range Planning, program forecasting and metrics

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
