The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden site in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology
In this role you will provide financial analysis and support to the International Area teams and the International Countries in the creation and maintenance of all International standard financial and analytics reporting packages. This position will support all International Countries and Head Quarter departments.
Your Tasks:
- Consolidate, create and analyze all reporting for profit and loss, investment responsibility and KPI reporting for all 57 International countries/markets and for the sub-regions
- Assist Area Controller/ HQ Finance management in reviewing all analytics and reporting for monthly actuals, and for LBE packages
- Subject Matter Expert related to reporting tools and processes – by leveraging existing tools (e.g. Dodeca and Excel) and implementing new tools like Power BI and the new Artificial Intelligence technologies (e.g. Co-Pilot) to accelerate the consolidation and reporting processes
- Assist FP&A Manager and Area HQ team in consolidating and reviewing LBE/MEC/Confirm deliverables and coordinate with regions/countries
- Work to continually develop new processes to improve and drive the business as well as strengthen existing financial processes throughout EMEAP.
Your Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or related discipline. ACCA, CPA, or CIMA membership
- Four to Six years of progressive finance/accounting/Audit experience
- Understanding of the Divisional financial process
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially with multi-dimensional reporting systems (e.g. TM/1, Dodeca), SAP, HFM and Excel
- Fluent in English - fluency in a second language a plus
- Cross cultural/international experience and a willingness/openness to international mobility
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills as well as critical thinking skills to identify and share business implications of financial results
