What this Job Entails:
The primary focus of the Financial Analyst III will be on the operational execution of procurement, purchase order generation, and budgetary forecasting to support our largest clients and corporate initiatives. This individual acts as the engine of the funding process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is meticulously prepared and analyzed to facilitate agile decision-making. You must excel at navigating complex organizational functions, performing critical data analysis, and driving continuous improvement in the "request-to-order" lifecycle. This role is a key facilitator of the annual planning and monthly forecasting process, providing the analytical backbone that ensures all purchase requests are funded and tracked accurately.

Expertise: Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of purchase order lifecycles and funding strings.
Complexity: Works on problems of a diverse scope requiring the evaluation of identifiable financial factors.
Independence: Receives little instruction on day-to-day work; receives general instruction on new assignments.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Purchase Order Generation: Manage the day-to-day aspects of raising and structuring purchase orders, ensuring all multi-element and complex deal structures for large client programs are accurately captured.
Funding Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis of requested spend to ensure it aligns with available budget, facilitating the seamless flow of funding for revenue, COGS, headcount, and expenses.
Budgetary Tracking: Monitor the "committed vs. actual" spend by tracking raised POs against departmental budget caps to prevent over-extension.
Forecasting & Planning: Calculate monthly forecasts, BOD reporting packages, and long-term plans to predict future PO volume and funding requirements.
Metric Management: Identify and track appropriate performance measures, such as PO turnaround time and forecast accuracy, to improve internal company performance.
Proactive Review: Be proactive in reviewing information and reporting systems to streamline the PO submission and approval workflow.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Understanding of general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Experience solving practical problems and handling a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Experience with general ledger and accounting practices.
Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
