Based in Kansas City, the Financial Analyst will support the FP&A organization with budgeting and analysis, special projects, and process improvement for multiple lines of business. This position will drive financial awareness and operational efficiency throughout the organization serving as a dedicated business partner to one or more of our strategic lines of business.
How you'll make an impact:
Act as a dedicated finance business partner to one or more of our strategic lines of business or other core department
Ad-hoc analytical projects to support profitability, efficiency, and resource utilization
Budget preparation using Adaptive Insights for multiple lines of business and stakeholders
Variance analysis, research, and reporting
Periodic forecast preparation and compilation
Conducts general ledger research and analytics, preparing reports that include cost analyses, comparative financial data, and informational data to support strategic decision making
Assist the business unit/accounting/finance team in other areas as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
What we're looking for:
Degree in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics required
2-4 years experience in a similar position in technology service organization required
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other application skills
Accounting, audit and analytical skills
ERP system familiarity such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or other large accounting package
General understanding of accounting and revenue recognition principles
