The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Business Finance Team on a 12 month contract. In this role you will support the financial objectives, month end, forecast and budgeting processes to drive performance, efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing financial expertise, analysis and reporting to the Australian Regional Executive, Managing Partners, and Office Managing Partners
Support the financial objectives, month end, forecast and budgeting processes for 2 Business service Departments. Providing accurate, timely analysis and insights to meet their needs (both BAU and adhoc projects and support)
Be a key Power BI user and developer of reporting to support the region (and global) in designing and scaling reporting
Provide accurate, professionally presented, and timely reporting, analysis and insights to meet the needs of the wider team Coordinating and consolidating monthly reports, budgets and forecasts
Proactive identification of value-add opportunities (cost savings, opportunities, etc.)
Supporting the broader FP&A and wider Business Finance teams with any other adhoc requests as necessary
Sharing best practices and working collaboratively as a member of the FP&A team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum three years’ experience in a management reporting function
Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and transitional reporting
Demonstrated experience analysing and interpreting financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Finance
Qualifications as a CPA/CA will be highly regarded
Exposure to financial reporting/business intelligence tools
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders
Demonstrated experience with Power BI, Power Pivot and Automate, and a curiosity about AI and emerging technologies
