The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) Affordability team is seeking a highly motivated Experienced or Senior Financial Analyst to support the BGS Controller organization in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and compliance. You will also be expected to be a change agent within BGS Finance as we adapt to changing market conditions and supporting senior leadership.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:
Initiates, collects, compiles, and integrates data for BGS cost reporting for non-labor expenses
Supports the BGS Contribution process and provides compliance support within STAR
Assists in the development and improvement of internal senior leadership reports
Develop forecasts and budgets primarily focused on affordability initiatives
Executes variance analysis and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior leadership including the BGS Controller and BGS Finance leadership team
Utilizes insightful analysis to support decision making and helps drive business results
Completes analysis on large and complex sets of cost data from multiple data sources and makes recommendations to improve cost performance
Partners with key stakeholders within the Rates & Overhead and BGS Finance teams to identify affordability cost initiatives and tracks progress towards those initiatives
Creates a culture of continuous improvement by communicating and deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction
Establishes partnerships and relationships with peers and functional leaders
Leads and/or participates in lean activities to continuously improve finance processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's or higher in accounting or finance
3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
3+ years of experience presenting and communicating data to Senior Leadership
3+ years of experience with process improvement
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
Experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
6+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role
6+ years of experience presenting and communicating data to Senior Leadership
6+ years of experience with process improvement
6+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
MBA or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and developing long range business plans
Strong focus on affordability, cost reduction and working capital
Experience building positive relationships with business partners
Experience utilizing AI and/or data analytic platforms (Alteryx, etc.)

Level 3 Summary Pay Range: $96,900 - $121,100
Level 4 Summary Pay Range: $122,400 - $145,000
