The Maneuvers Systems (MS) portfolio within the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has a Finance Analyst Program Cost Controls (P2) opportunity to support this high-demand portfolio within the Precision Fires & Maneuvers (PF&M) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). This program cost controls role will join the team in support of the high visibility development and production contracts. These programs deliver capability modernization to the US Army. The product line is in a significant growth phase, delivering solutions to the US warfighter.
In this role you can expect to have frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contracts, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership which will require you to possess strong presentation and communication skills and have a strong understanding of financial performance management and processes.
This role is being offered in a remote capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do
Business partner to MS programs and finance professionals
Finance support for MS Programs
Manage the program’s EVMS
Monitor the earned value cost and schedule
Report monthly Earned Value and drive variance understanding
Comprehensive monthly cost and schedule analysis
Preparation of various finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews, and other financial reporting activities
Coordination and development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
Establish and maintain a compliant performance management baseline
Program level Financial Planning & support to AOP, LRP and monthly forecasts
Participation in key leadership strategy reviews
Full spectrum exposure to program life cycle: program close-out, proposal development, and program start-up
Support development of CDRLs
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field & 2 years of relevant professional working experience
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and/or variance analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of Tools
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Value
Business partnering experience (across multiple functional disciplines)
Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or EAC Process
Experience with EVMS (or similar process) or achieve EVMS certification within 2 months of hiring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment as well as must be independent and self-motivated
SAP accounting system & Analysis for Office reports experience, SAP APEX EV & PMX experience
Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
Works under general direction and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
Continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail and accuracy. Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
