Financial Analyst - Collections & Disputes

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

Position Summary
You will support collections and dispute resolution for our Regional Finance Hub supporting the MEA Region. You will work closely with finance, CTC, customer service, and shared service teams. We value accuracy, clear communication, and a continuous improvement mindset. This role gives practical exposure across order-to-cash activities, clear growth opportunities, and a chance to contribute to GSK’s mission of uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
 

Responsibilities
- Apply customer payments to invoices accurately and in a timely manner using our ERP.
- Investigate and resolve short payments and invoice mismatches with internal teams and customers.
- Manage and track customer disputes from logging to resolution and ensure appropriate escalation.
- Reconcile daily cash postings and maintain clear, audit-ready account documentation.
- Prepare regular collections reports and maintain key performance indicators.
- Suggest and support process improvements and use digital tools to increase accuracy and efficiency.


Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Practical understanding of accounts receivable, cash application, and customer invoicing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to learn ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; working knowledge of Urdu is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in cash application, accounts receivable, collections, or order-to-cash processes.
- Familiarity with reconciliation techniques and short payment resolution practices.
- Experience using reporting tools or basic data analysis skills to drive improvements.
- Experience in a shared service centre or multinational company.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
