US - Remote Full Time

If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be required (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Those outside of commutable distance may be considered on a remote basis.

The Financial Analyst within Avetta’s Financial Planning & Analysis team will serve as a strategic partner in driving insights that influence executive decisions and operational efficiency. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate across Finance, Billing, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Leadership teams to gather valuable insights and data, streamline forecasting and planning processes to improve the accuracy and quality of the revenue forecast, and advance planning capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advance insights on vital business metrics (e.g., gross and net retention rates, pipeline, churn).
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic long-range planning for cash billings, revenue, and KPIs.
  • Build and improve upon financial models to provide clarity and support accurate forecasting.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis to contribute to Executive Management and Board of Directors reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand and enhance system data flows, reporting processes, and analytics.
  • Use AI tooling to conduct financial analysis for various strategic initiatives and ad-hoc requests, such as pricing models, scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess risks and potential outcomes.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Operations, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence.
    Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SQL (Snowflake experience preferred) and willingness to deepen technical expertise.
    Ability to introduce AI tooling into existing workflows.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and planning software (Adaptive) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business and revenue model a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences.

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $123,000 per year, with a potential bonus.
