ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will deliver financial analysis and reporting that support sound business decisions and drive performance. Working with the Finance Business Partner and other leaders, you’ll turn data into actionable insights to improve planning, forecasting, and profitability.

You’ll collaborate on regional projects with teams across Europe and North America, gaining exposure to financial operations in a global environment.

The role reports directly to the Regional Finance Business Partner.


WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Planning & Forecasting: Assist in the monthly forecast and the annual plan; that includes sales, RGP/NGP, OPEX by department and by cost category as well as the associated headcount.
  • P&L Analysis: Develop and improve reports to give a comprehensive understanding of the results and facilitate decision making (daily reports for sales and margins, quarterly P&L by branch, customer profitability etc.). That includes variance analyses for all elements of the P&L including appropriate recommendations where necessary.
  • Reporting: Participate in the monthly close in charge of all the sales and margin related entries and analysis of the actual variances for P&L and B/S versus forecast and/or versus period. Collaborate with the SSC teams for GL and AP.
  • Deal Analysis: Employ knowledge of financial metrics such as ROWC to create models to assess profitability of new deals, extended terms, etc. and derive recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Incentive Calculations for Sales & Engineering Functions: Calculate every quarter the achievements of sales & engineering employees versus their individual plans.
  • Audit: Participate in the external and internal audits on a regular basis.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to the Business Leaders and Finance Business Partners in order to improve profitability.
  • Liaise with both European and NA colleagues to clarify and align reporting questions, allocations and other topics that may arise.
  • Miscellaneous other finance or process related tasks.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience & Technical Expertise

  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained in a multinational and fast-paced financial environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets to produce meaningful financial insights.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Oracle or Oracle Unity systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is considered a strong plus.
  • Smart View add-in experience is a plus.
  • A self-driven and adaptable professional, capable of thriving in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
